Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use our website. This page explains what we aim for, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to reach us if something blocks you.

Our commitment
Digital DirAction is working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as a design and engineering standard, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic HTML on every page so screen readers can navigate headings, landmarks, and links.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Colour contrast targeted at WCAG AA on body text and interactive elements.
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and modals.
- Reduced-motion styles that turn off animation for visitors with
prefers-reduced-motion: reduceset in their operating system. - ARIA labels on non-textual controls (icons, floating buttons).
Known limitations
Some areas we are still improving:
- Auto-playing hero videos are muted and loop; we plan to add an explicit pause control.
- Some marketing typography sits at slightly below AA contrast on decorative captions; body copy always meets AA.
- PDF resources we distribute may not always be tagged for screen readers; ask us for an accessible version if needed.
Assistive technologies we test with
- VoiceOver (macOS, iOS) with Safari
- NVDA with Firefox / Chrome
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Reduced-motion and forced-colours system settings
